Hello all! I love food and I don't like wasting time and calories on anything that is not delicious. That is how I approached these granola recipes. I wanted them to taste vibrant and amazing, be healthy and reflect our rich culture as Black people. Granola does not have to be boring!

I have always enjoyed good food and cooking. After acquiring my cosmetology license at the age of 16 and later graduating from Howard University with a BA in journalism, I decided to pursue my passion for cooking by enrolling in culinary school . 25+ years later, I have accumulated a wide range of culinary experiences, including working in restaurants in LA, NY, Anguilla and DC, where gourmet retailers Dean and DeLuca carried a line of my desserts. In addition to my work as a culinary artist, I own a salon in the Twin cities and I am a wife and mother of 2! Looking forward to introducing you to my new venture SOUL GRAIN!
